Purpose
Programs represent your organization’s ongoing initiatives, projects, or service areas. By saving clear and consistent program descriptions here, you make it easy for your team (and the AI Assistant) to draw from accurate, approved language whenever you’re writing new proposals or reports.
💡 Think of Programs as your “building blocks” — reusable, trustworthy text that represents what your organization actually does.
Layout
Top Bar
Search name… — quickly find a program by name
Items per page — adjust how many programs are displayed at once
+ New program — create a new program description

💡 Search helps you locate programs instantly when you’re juggling multiple initiatives or departments.
Table of Programs
Each program appears as a row in the table with these columns:
Program — the name of the program (click to open its record)
Description — a concise summary of the program’s purpose or activities
Owner — the team member responsible for maintaining the record
Last updated — shows when the program description was last edited
💡 Keeping program descriptions current ensures the AI always pulls from your latest and most accurate content.
Actions
From the Actions column (three dots menu):
Edit — update the program’s name, description, or ownership
Delete — permanently remove the program from your workspace
💡 Deleting a program removes it from all linked areas — proceed carefully if it’s actively used in proposals.
Inside a Program Record
Click a program name to open its full record. Each record contains several sections:
Overview
Shows the program’s title, summary, and key context details such as:
Primary goals and activities
Populations served or geographic focus
Associated opportunities or grants (if applicable)

💡 Keep this section factual and well-written — it’s what the AI references most often when helping you draft content.
Notes
A freeform space for context or internal details — such as updates, impact metrics, or future plans.
💡 Notes help you capture evolving information without editing the official program description.
✅ Key takeaway: The Programs Area is your single source for accurate, reusable program language. By maintaining clear program descriptions and linking them to opportunities, you give Grantable’s AI the context it needs to write cohesive, consistent proposals — every time.
