Almost every grant application begins by requesting basic information about the applicant organization. It can be difficult to remember some of these commonly requested items, like tax ID numbers, names and links. Here's how Grantable solves this problem for you.
Locate your organization profile
From your Home screen, navigate to your Organization Profile area from the left side menu.
Your Organization Profile contains default information types, some of which will be pre-filled for you, and all of which you can modify.
Modifying organizational information
Click open any profile object to reveal the editing interface, which is a drawer that will appear on the right side of the screen.
Update the information in the text field, and click Save.
Creating custom profile objects
You can create custom profile objects by clicking the + Add Field button in the upper right corner of the screen.
A custom profile object requires two kinds of text:
Name - This should be a short, descriptive label that lets people know what kind of information is contained in this object.
Example: Executive Director Email
Value - This should be the information you wish to store for reference.
Example: [email protected]
Once you've created the custom object with both fields, click Save.
Inserting organization profile information in grant applications
In any grant application, click the Profile button in the upper toolbar to reveal all the information in your Organization Profile.
You can use the Search field to quickly find pieces of information you wish to reference.
Click on an object you wish to reference.
This will insert the data contained in the object to the cursor location on the page.
