Welcome to Grantable, the leading AI platform for grants. No matter the size of your team or the focus of your mission, we've created this tool to help you organize your grant content and leverage AI to help you draft and apply more efficiently.

Why do people love Grantable?

  • Not a chatbot - Chatbots can be really cool! They're just not as easy or efficient to use when it comes to grant-seeking workflows.

  • Organize content - No more digging through folders and shared drives for that perfect paragraph. Bring all of your best writing together in your Smart Library.

  • First drafts - Let AI help move you beyond the blank page. Ask your writing assistant to use your previous content to draft responses in seconds.

  • Meeting word limits - Expand or shrink proposal responses to meet application length limits.

  • Change tone - Instantly adjust the tone or perspective of your writing to suit particular audiences and needs.

  • Apply more - Increase your opportunity to go after more funding opportunities with the same amount of staff capacity.

  • Save time - Take back your most important resource - time.

How does Grantable work?

Grantable is a content management and writing tool specifically designed for grant professionals to improve efficiency and increase the likelihood of successful funding outcomes.

To use Grantable, simply upload writing samples, ideally recently completed grant proposals, and then ask your AI writing assistant to help draft content in your next proposal.

Whatever you create in Grantable automatically becomes part of your Smart Library and is ready become source material for your next grant.

How do I use Grantable?

In general, here are the main steps to follow in order to get up and running.

Create an account

  1. Use an email address to create a Grantable account

    1. If you have trouble finding your magic login link, check your spam folder

  2. Follow the prompts to reach your home screen

Upload writing samples

  1. Use the left side menu to navigate to the Content section

  2. Use the Upload button in the upper right to upload writing samples, ideally recently completed grant applications

  3. (Optional) Use folders and tags to organize your content in a way that is easy for you and your collaborators to navigate

Draft content using AI

  1. Begin a new grant proposal

    1. File upload: If the grant application is in .docx or .pdf format, follow the same instructions as above to upload the file

    2. Copy and paste: If you're copying and pasting the application from a web portal or another source, navigate to the Content section of your home screen, and click the green New button and select New file. Paste the application text into the blank file

  2. Create a new Palette at the bottom of the screen and use the search features to choose files and text selections you wish to use as AI source material for this document.

    1. Tip: the AI assistant will use the source material from the Palette you have selected at the bottom of the page to draft materials. You can switch between Palettes by clicking the different Palette tabs.

  3. Highlight text on the screen and use the pop up bubble menu, the writing tool bar or the keyboard shortcut Command/Control + J to open your AI prompter

  4. Tell your AI what you'd like it to do

    1. Example: Answer this in 100 words
