When grantors provide the application form as a downloadable file, follow these steps to bring it into your Grantable workspace.

Note: Currently supported file formats include .docx and .pdf

Locate the application file you wish to upload

Have it ready to upload from your computer.

Tip: Look for or inquire about an option to download the application. If you are able to download the entire application, follow these instructions to upload it to Grantable.

Step 1: Add Grant Application

From the home screen, navigate to the Application section using the left menu.

Click the green New Application button in the upper right corner of the screen.

Click the Select files option and upload your grant application file from your computer.

Your uploaded application document will load.

Once complete, click the green Continue to Step 2 button to proceed.

Step 2: Add Source Material

Selecting high quality source material is critically important to ensure your AI assistant drafts accurate and authentic content for your grant application.

You have two options for associating source material with this application.

  1. You can search through the existing source material in your account using the search bar.

  2. You can upload documents in .docx or .pdf format using the upload feature.

Selected files will appear and can be removed if necessary by clicking the X on each item.

Once you have finished associating source materials to this application, click Start Writing to proceed to your workspace.

Tip: Writing your grant proposals in Grantable means you'll automatically have your most recent applications to use as source material for your next submission.
