Quick Start Video
Grantable makes it easy to upload and manage documents your AI assistant will use to draft grant content. These source materials—like past proposals, organizational narratives, or standard boilerplate—are the foundation of accurate and personalized grant writing.
Uploading source material from the Home Screen
From your home screen, navigate to the "Files" section of your account using the left side menu. Click the "Upload files" button in the upper right corner of the screen and choose "Browse Files" to upload from your local drive, or "Google Drive" if you want to import files from your Google Drive account.
Once completed, you’ll see uploaded files in the top level of your “Files” area. You can organize them as you would in any storage drive, as files in folders, and you can tag both, as well.
Uploading source material from the Workspace
Sometimes we recall a source material we want to use while in the process of writing a grant application. Grantable makes it easy to stay in flow by allowing you to add source material from the writing Workspace.
Within your Workspace, there are three ways in which to access your controls for uploading source material. Look for the “Sources” button with a book icon.
In-line AI tool - There is a “Sources” button in the pop-up AI tool that opens when you highlight text on the page and click “AI” to reveal the prompt input.
Document Tray - There is a “Sources” button at the bottom of the left side of the screen below the application documents and outline tray.
AI Assistant - There is a “Sources” button below the text input area of your AI chat assistant visible on the right side of the screen when the chat assistant is open.
Click on a “Sources” button to reveal a popup. Click the “+ Add” button to reveal options for adding source material.
